Phuket Thailand 2015

Hi guys. Im awful at keeping up with this blog. It kills me I am sorry. Here are some pictures from our most recent trip to Thailand. I knew that moving to China was going to come with a bunch of lows and also some pretty incredible highs. This trip for sure was one of the highs. I have never been one to lust after traveling but I think this winter along with multiple common colds, a persistent cough, a fever and the stomach bug I have also caught the " travel bug" . Thailand was the most beautiful place that I have ever seen on top of that the people and the food were amazing. If you are in the market to visit Thailand which I highly suggest we stayed at the JW Marriott and I don't have enough time to list all the amazing things about this resort it was comfort and happiness from top to bottom. Here are a couple of the many many pictures I took during our time there. Hope you guys enjoy!

This was our little seating area outside of our room, at night me and Jay would sit and listen to the ocean have a drink and marvel over the fact that we were in Thailand

This was our view from breakfast every morning and perfect way to start the day

Went and spent some time with the elephants

Above their heads were a ton of monkeys

Took turns during nap time relaxing by the pool

Went on a couple of bike rides

Pippas hair got so gold and her skinned was so tan

Amazing covered bridge

Delicious soup I had a bad cough the whole trip so this was just what the doctor ordered

Got dunked under water

Gorgeous Sunsets

Pippas first TUTU moment

Bye Bye Thailand until next time!!

Interior Inspiration

There is a new Bachelor that just started on ABC and I didnt even know about it until someone posted it on Facebook. I am losing my touch guys over here in China and I am only two months in. As I may have mentioned before  or if you follow along on my Instagram, we are moving into our new house here in Shanghai next week and I can not be more excited about it. It is the finally piece we need to feel settled here in this new country we will finally receive all of the stuff we shipped here from the US ( our pictures our blankets our sheet cups bowls ohhh how I have missed them ) I also  have always had a love for interior design so any chance I have to decorate a new house I jump all over immediately. This house I am going in a different direction than I normally would go in because it is so temporary I decided why not go a little trendier and have a little bit of fun with it. I 100 percent will be sharing in the process with you guys as we complete the house. Here are some pictures I used as inspiration for this new home, obviously found on Pinterest.

Cheers to 2015

Its a brand new year in a brand new city and I feeling energized and excited about it. So much to explore to taste to learn. In the past years I have written down my goals and tried really hard to stick to unrealistic resolutions that I never really meet so this year I am just aiming to be better than I was last year. To worry less and to savor the sweet times a little more. To devote my time and energy towards people who make me happy and lift me up and are genuinely happy to see me happy. To soak in ever sweet giggle from my little one while they are young cuddly and small and actually want to hang out with me. Most of all I just want to find happiness in this new country and make the most of the years we are here instead of counting down the time until we are home. This experience is tough and full of ups and downs but I know that it is once in a lifetime and I am lucky to be on the wild ride so I might as well put my feet up and enjoy all the ups and downs that come my way. Wishing you and yours a happy happy New Year.
