Hello all I am sorry I have been so quiet on here I have been busy running after my little boy. I am going to be taking a little blogging break for a couple of months hopefully in that time frame I will have given my blog a little facelift and gotten my household a little less busy with the Holidays behind me .. ta ta for now..

Mommy Nook

Spent a little time playing on polyvore this evening when Husband J came home from work. I've been seeing a lot of cute offices lately on pinterest which have left me wishing for a mommy nook of my own. If I had the space I would hope for it to look just like this below. How amazing is that Rachel Zoe watercolor it would be perfect in a gorgeous frame behind my chair as she would say it is everything oh and wouldn't this be the perfect spot to put those gorgeous pink bookends I have been lusting after? I am such a sucker for stripes lately how awesome is that black and white striped lamp. The little white mugs are the perfect place to keep my pens and pencils. ohhh a girl can dream right? By the way sorry I have been pretty quiet here on my blog it is getting harder to find the time because Kael is now starting to be very very active, little man should be on the move here pretty soon..Happy Hump Day!!

Little Boys..

Hope everyone is having a great week! I have been helping my girlfriend pick out things for her new home she has two adorable little boys with a new baby on the way so we have been focusing a ton on little boy rooms and it made me think about what I will do for Kaels room once he is a little older and is begging me to get rid of the light blue and gold. I LOVE these animal heads from anthropologie they are adorable for a little boys or little girls room. Im a huge fan of tufted furniture and it is usually pretty girly looking but I think this black headboard is gorgeous I picture having two twin beds in the room both with this headboard accented with black and white striped bedding. I love layering in rooms I think it would be so cute to have this fun zebra and a large sheepskin rug on the floor for a soft spot for playing. The swinging chair is so adorable and would be a great spot for a little boy to read and play. I love the idea of framing old maps and that sconce on either side of each bed would just be adorable. In terms of paint on the wall I think it would be so fun to paint gray and white stripes on one wall and leave the rest of the room white! Well the Phillies just lost and Husband J is pacing and starting to curse so I will just leave you with my little inspiration..Happy Hump Day

Next House

How beautiful are all of these fireplaces? Never more than this time of year when the air is just starting to get chilly do I wish for a fireplace of my own. I love the romantic feel that they add to a room, curled up on a sofa drinking a glass of wine or some hot chocolate listening to the fire crack..ahh heavenly. Are any of you on twitter? I used to scoff at the idea of it mostly because I didn't know how to navigate it and that made me feel a little old but now I find myself wasting more time on the twitterverse than I do on Facebook. I guess Facebook will always be good as a way of communicating quickly with friends and family truthfully though I am kind of over it.. Im obsessed with all the instant information I get via twitter from celeb gossip to food recalls to mommy advice it is pretty amazing. Obviously I follow my best gal pal Nicole Richie on their and sometimes I send random tweets to celebs that really irk me it makes me feel better. Think Jessica Simpson is pregnant? I really do think she is this time and not just packing on the lbs! Poor girl the media really needs to give her a break how many times can you call someone fat before they crack? I had the most wonderful weekend me and Husband J celebrated our two year anniversary by going to see the Real Housewives Tour in AC { don't judge us } and had a nice dinner. It was fantastic to be in my element { is it a issues when my element is a room full of women obsessed with Bravo } relax and enjoy quality alone time with my Husband. I have a new obsession with monogramming and it has potential to get out of hand. Now every where I look there is a new cute thing that can be bedazzled with my initials or my sons initials it is dangerous. THIS Etsy store has some of the cutest stuff for really really great prices and I am DYING over these iphone cases that you can be found at THIS amazing esty shop I will surely be scooping one of these up as soon as the Iphone5 is released WHEN is that happen already I hear a different date every other day. I am not a huge electronic girl but I refuse to buy a phone just to have the newer version come out a month later. How exciting is it that the Holiday season is upon us can't wait to celebrate with my little bundle of love..
